2016 Love To Dance Scholarships

The Love To Dance Academy, Merritt, invited all dancers in Merritt and surrounding areas to participate in their 2016 Scholarship Auditions.
Six students from the Love To Dance Academy attended the 1-hour Audition Workshop Class in four out of the six dance styles currently being taught at the Love To Dance Academy. They had to learn and execute combinations in Ballet, Spanish, Jazz and Contemporary dance. Dancers also had to perform their own choreography solo to music of their choice in any one of the dance styles mentioned above.

Scholarship winners will receive one year tuition at the Love To Dance Academy.
Scholarship winners will automatically become members of the new 2016 LTD Dance Troupe.
The winners of the 2016 Love To Dance Scholarships are:
Ballet: Chantalle Anderson ($840-00)
Contemporary: Justice Aspinall ($420-00)
The judging panel of six were so impressed by the dancers' ability, passion, enthusiasm and creativity as well as the professional manner in which they conducted themselves that two of the Judges made an immediate and very generous donation that allowed the Love To Dance Academy to award a third scholarship.
